Feedback is one of the most valuable tools for growth—when it’s clear and actionable.

Unfortunately, research shows that women often receive feedback that is vague, ambiguous, or focused on personality rather than performance. How often have we heard “you should be more confident” or “you need to be more visible.”

The person giving this feedback may have positive intent or an unconscious bias – either way, they should be challenged to clarify their ambiguous feedback into actionable next steps.

This week's challenge is to revisit a piece of feedback you’ve received that left you puzzled or unsure how to act on it.
